Chocolate Week

This week is Chocolate Week and if you are a chocoholic then you will love FrithRugs chocolate rugs – sadly you can’t eat them - but they will add warmth and comfort to any room in your house this autumn/winter.

If you are using this colour in your home, you will find it is a really versatile option because brown shades complement most other colours. Of course, firstly you need to establish your preference – are you a milk chocolate (light brown) or dark chocolate (dark brown) fan?

If you prefer lighter shades, you can actually use several different shades of brown in one room although the trick is to bring them all together with something neutral like cream. You can see how well this works in some of our Modern Indian Design rugs. There are lots of lovely light brown shades available and you can use it generously even in small rooms.  If you opt for a heavily designed rug then keep the rest of the décor simple and let the rug be the focus of the room.

Dark brown is a nice option instead of black – as it is just that bit softer. We would advise using dark brown when you have lot of natural light and this is a colour that works really well with white. We really love this Nourison Urban Safari Rug in dark brown.  It is a beautiful rich colour that feels lovely and soft – perfect for the season.  Add faux fur cushions and throws in a similar colour and in white and you’ll never want to leave the house this winter.

Whatever your chocolate taste, FrithRugs offers a mouthwatering choice of rugs  in brown shades, including plain, shaggy, multi and patterned.  Enjoy your chocolate!
